Why I Make Avatars
The internet can be a rough place sometimes, and I’ve always dealt with that by putting my energy into things that make people happy instead of letting everything else drag me down. That mindset eventually led me into the furry community, VRChat, and avatar creation.
What I enjoy most is helping someone turn a familiar avatar base into something that actually feels like their character. Whether it’s a simple recolor or a much more involved edit, I want the finished avatar to feel personal, recognizable, and genuinely enjoyable to use.
Where It Started
This all started when a friend made a custom avatar for me for free. The first time I used it in VRChat and saw myself in the mirror, it genuinely stuck with me. It wasn’t just another 3D model anymore — it felt like my character.
That experience is a big part of why I started making avatars for other people. I want someone else to be able to have that same moment without feeling like they need to spend a fortune just to make their character feel like their own.
